Evidence-Driven Social Change

Good intentions must be backed by good knowledge. AAP International's Research & Advocacy pillar ensures that our work — and the broader discourse around aging and social welfare in India — is grounded in evidence, lived experience, and expert insight.

Through seminars, publications, training programs, and policy dialogue, we contribute to building a better-informed ecosystem of care for elderly individuals and vulnerable communities. We collaborate with academics, medical professionals, and civil society organizations to amplify impact.

Our Research Pillars

Four areas of focused research and advocacy that shape our organizational work.

01

Aging & Elder Care

Research into the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of aging in India — including loneliness, access to care, and elder rights — to inform better policy and practices.

02

Social Welfare & Poverty

Studying the intersection of poverty, social exclusion, and welfare access among vulnerable populations to identify gaps and advocate for targeted government intervention.

03

Child Education & Outcomes

Tracking outcomes for students supported through our education programs and contributing to broader understanding of what works in support of underprivileged learners.

04

Disaster Preparedness

Research and training on how communities — particularly those with elderly members — can prepare for and respond to natural disasters, epidemics, and other crises.
