Providing care, companionship, health awareness, and practical assistance to elderly individuals living in India's communities.
As India's population ages and traditional family structures change, millions of senior citizens face increasing isolation, health challenges, and a lack of dignified care. AAP International's Senior Citizen Support program was founded in 1999 to address this growing and often invisible crisis.
We work with elderly individuals — particularly those without family support, living in poverty, or facing health challenges — to ensure they are not forgotten. Our approach combines direct assistance with community-building, fostering an ecosystem of care around each individual we serve.

Core activities under the Senior Citizen Support program.
Regular health check-up camps providing free screenings for common age-related ailments including hypertension, diabetes, and vision problems.
Community gatherings, counselling sessions, and social interaction programs designed to combat loneliness and promote mental well-being among the elderly.
Trained volunteers and staff conduct regular home visits to bedridden or isolated senior citizens, providing companionship and practical assistance.
Workshops and counselling for families on elder care, sensitising younger generations to the needs and challenges faced by their elderly relatives.
Awareness programs on senior citizens' legal rights, pension schemes, and government entitlements to help the elderly access what they are owed.
Educational seminars on topics relevant to aging — health, finance, safety, grief — conducted by specialists and open to senior citizens and caregivers.
Your contribution — whether time, funds, or skills — helps us ensure that no elderly person in our community is left without care and dignity.
